What is the Office of the Year competition?

Kanceláře roku (Office of the Year) is the most prestigious Czech office design competition, organized by Prochazka & Partners since 2016. It recognizes outstanding office fit-outs across 10 categories, with winners announced at an annual gala at Žofín Palace in Prague.

How to register for the competition?

Registration is available online at www.kancelareroku.cz/en/project-registration/. Both companies and architectural studios can submit entries. Participation in the competition and attendance at the gala are completely free.

What are the competition categories?

The competition features 10 categories: Employee Friendly, Hub & Co-working, Innovative, IT, Small, Regional, Start-up, Large, and Healthy Office of the Year, plus a cross-category Jury Award.

When is the registration deadline for the 10th edition?

The registration deadline for the 10th anniversary edition is March 31, 2026. The winners will be announced on June 4, 2026 at Žofín Palace in Prague.

Where does the gala take place?

The annual gala ceremony is traditionally held at Žofín Palace (Palác Žofín) on Slavonic Island in central Prague. The 10th edition gala will take place on June 4, 2026, hosted by Jakub Voříšek.

Is participation free?

Yes, participation in the Office of the Year competition is completely free. Registration, jury evaluation, and attendance at the gala ceremony are all free of charge.

Traditionally, we announce the winners of the Office of the Year competition at the final gala at Žofín Palace, to which we invite representatives of all participating companies. The event of the year, featuring a rich program, is hosted by Jakub Voříšek.
